The “Amis Kakeng Musical Group” was formed by Sawtoy Saytay on May of 1999. It is a percussion musical group that uses “beating” to communicate the traditional beauty of Amis indigenous people. Since its first performance, Kakeng has become the most distinguished percussion musical group, developed from traditional songs and percussion musical instruments. Their production is widely acclaimed for combining the performance of wind and songs.
