Suming Rupi is an Amis singer-songwriter, actor, artist, dancer and music festival director from Dulan village in Taitung County in Taiwan. His works often depict issues of identity and contemporary societal developments pertaining to ethnicity and culture. He has been recognized with awards such as the Golden Melody Awards, Golden Horse Awards, and Golden Indie Music Awards.
Recently, he has dedicated himself to writing songs in traditional Amis chanting, producing them into pop music to introduce the beauty of Amis chanting worldwide.
