Sangpuy Katatepan Mavaliyw, often be described as “a young man with an old soul.” He comes from an ancient Pinuyumayan Indigenous community— Katratripulr, located in Taiwan‘s Pacific southeast coast, where mountain meets ocean.
Sangpuy was attracted by the ancient chants of his ancestors when he was little and thus inspired and motivated to learn traditional music, language, culture and traditions. Integrated his love to the land and culture, his voice is tender but powerful, not only moved the people in Taiwan but also adored by people around the world.
