
Fann, previously known as Fang-I Liu, a Taiwanese-born singer-songwriter. She writes and sings in English and Chinese. Her voice demonstrates a beautiful soft-like quality, influenced by strong female singers such as Ingrid Michaelson, Alanis Morissette, Priscilla Ahn, Tori Amos and many more.
In 2011, she graduated from Musicians Institute (L.A) and released her debut EP, titled “Confessions” in the US and Taiwan. During this period of time, Fann has also performed in various venues and music festivals, such as The Viper room, Key Club, Hard Rock Café Hollywood, Spring Scream music festival (Taiwan) and other places.
Her debut EP received many positive reviews from the press, such as I Am Entertainment Magazine, Skope Mag, Music Connection Magazine and more. “Confessions” was nominated by Hollywood Music in Media Award (HMMA2012). She also sang for the movie called Detective Chinatown and other films.
In December 22nd 2016, Fann has officially released her new mini album- We Are Who We Are. Arranged and produced by Christian Klikovits and Fann herself. It features performances of various amazing musicians. Now she is performing and doing various concerts in Taiwan. This time Fann has discovered her new voice as you will be able to hear a different persona and creativity from her original compositions in this album.
